Raymond S. Antosiak, 62, of Oklahoma City, OK, and formerly of Lorain, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at his residence after a sudden illness. Raymond was born November 28, 1948 in Poole Dorset, England. He had been an Oklahoma City resident for the past 40 years . He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War serving in Da Nang, and was also present in the fighting in Siagon during the TET offensive. Raymond graduated from Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary School, and Lorain High School. In Oklahoma City he earned an Associates Degree in Journalism from the Oscar Rose Junior College. He also survived a direct hit on his home in the Oklahoma City tornado of 1999. Raymond was in civil service at Tinker A.F.B in aircraft maintenance and support. He also owned and operated Happy Days Record Shop. He is survived by his mother Marianne (nee Andrzejewski) of Lorain ; brother Mark Antosiak of Howell, MI; sister Dorothy (Ted) Wayman of Orlando, FL; nephew Daniel Wayman of Orlando, FL; two cousins Anna Broz of Lorain, and Teresa Laskosz of Houston, TX. and others overseas. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Antosiak. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10th from 6-8 P.M. at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1939 Oberlin Avenue Lorain, OH. Funeral services will be Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Fr. Robert J. Glepko will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain where military honors will be conducted.
