Norwalk

With heavy hearts, the family of Rhonda Sue (Hunt) Rexroad announce her passing on May 31, after a prolonged illness. Rhonda was 54 years young.

Rhonda grew up in Vermilion, Ohio and graduated from Vermilion High School and EHOVE Vocational School in 1990. She earned her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University and truly enjoyed her career as an Occupational Therapist, working with many clients throughout North Central Ohio.

Rhonda will be remembered for her beautiful smile with dimples and her bright, fun-loving personality. Rhonda had a zest for life. She especially loved time with her family, hosting get-togethers at her home, and cooking for family and friends. She was an avid and wily card and board game player who loved to travel and camp out. Rhonda enjoyed growing her own vegetables and herbs as well as indoor and outdoor flowers: she was still planting during her last few days at home!

Rhonda’s greatest love was her three children, Audriana Rexroad of Cleveland, OH, Chase Rexroad of Berlin Heights, OH, and Korigan Rexroad of Clyde, OH, as well as her three grandchildren, Kian, Lewis and Alia Rexroad. She was in her element when she could cook for and host her family for a Sunday Brunch or holiday gathering with games!

Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Vicie Hunt of Delbarton, WV; grandparents Frankie and Nell Henson of Vermilion, OH; and her nephew, Garrett Farr. She is survived by her parents, Ron and Linda (Henson) Hunt of Vermilion, OH; her sisters Tracy (Mike) Worcester of Cedar Park, TX and Deb (Randy) Ferguson of Swisher, IA; her three children and three grandchildren as listed above; 3 nieces, Sarah, Rebecca and Miranda; and, 2 nephews, Matthew and Brandon.

While Rhonda leaves a great void in the lives of all who loved her, we take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place now, with no more pain and no more worries. May she rest in peace in God’s presence.

Riddle Funeral Home in Vermilion, Ohio will be handling all arrangements. On Friday, June 5, Friends may visit from 11:00am to Noon at Riddle Funeral Home.
