Richard A. 'Dick' Millis

Richard M "Dick" Millis (nee ),80, of Vermilion, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born August 6, 1931 in Vermilion and had been a life long resident. Dick was a self employed painting contractor with Millis Painting since 1965. He enjoyed collecting and working on antique tractors and attending tractor shows. He restored a Model T and enjoyed pets. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margy (nee Angesbach) Millis; sons, Dr. Scott (Cynthia Halse) Millis , Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and Michael(Dorothy) Millis, Vermilion; a grandson, Tim Millis, Vermilion; brother, Ronald Millis, Vermilion and a sister, Rheeta (Norm) Beeler, Amherst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mildred (nee Smith) Millis and sisters, Ruth Pfistner and Barbara Finucan. Private family services will be held.
