Ricky Taylor

Ricky Jack Taylor, 72, of Vermilion, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home following a sudden illness.

Born on September 27, 1952, in Paducah, Kentucky, Ricky spent most of his life as a proud resident of Vermilion, Ohio.

Ricky began his working life at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain before embarking on a long and fulfilling career with PC Campana.

Known for his sociable nature, Ricky enjoyed attending gatherings at Christ Episcopal Church in Huron. He had a passion for working on cars and was a dedicated outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

Ricky is survived by his brothers, Albert Taylor of Huron and Mark Taylor of Vermilion; his sisters, Kimberly Taylor of Sheffield and Jamie Taylor of Vermilion; his nephew, William Taylor of Vermilion; and his niece, Ashley Taylor of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilker and Clara Taylor (née Bandagski), and his brother, Jeffery Taylor.

Private services will be held for Ricky, honoring his life and memory.
