Robert Davis

Vermilion -Robert E. Davis, 47 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 in Community Health Partners West after a lengthy illness. He was born September 15, 1955 in Memphis, TN and has been a Vermilion residence since 1958. He worked at rest areas along Rt 2 and at other Murray Ridge programs from 1973 until 2001. He enjoyed watching baseball, visiting with friends and sports. He is survived by his mother, Annie Lillian (nee Smith) Davis; 2 sisters, Linda Appleman and Sherri Click both of Vermilion; 2 nephews and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Davis in 1997, and a brother, John, in 1967. The family will receive friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Friday, March 7, 2003, at 1 pm with The Reverend Howard Crabtree, officiating. Interment will follow in Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
