Robert Joseph Dicarlo

Robert "Bob" Joseph DiCarlo, 74, of Vermilion, died Friday, June 16, 2023 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

He was born October 11, 1948 in Cleveland, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 58 years moving from Cleveland.

Bob started his career as a chef at Lorain Country Club and then worked for Elyria Country Club as a Stewart.   He then worked for over 20 years as the Service Manager for Harbor North Marina.

He was a member and Vice President of the Lake Shore Corvettes.  He received his Captains License and enjoyed boating, cars (especially Corvettes), and he was an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anna Katherine (nee Osborn) DiCarlo of Vermilion and his sister, Sandra DiCarlo of Vermilion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret (nee Mascarella) DiCarlo.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  Funeral services will be Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
