Robert A. Marsolais

Robert A. "Goose" Marsolais, 64, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Northridge Health Center, North Ridgeville. Robert was born December 19, 1950 in Albany, NY and had been a lifelong Lorain County resident. Robert was a driver for Lakefront Lines for 26 years retiring in 2009. He enjoyed driving, fishing, hunting, and storytelling. He was also a Browns and Indians fan. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Anna (nee Boyd); children Jennifer (Donald) Fuhrer of Carrollton, OH, Bob (Beth) Moore of Avon, Jeffrey (Stacy) Marsolais of Elyria, Michael (Courtney DeBolt) Marsolais of Vermilion, Cheryl (Will) Michaels of Akron; step-children Joanna (Eddie Hunnell) Heatley of Vermilion, Tricia Valan of Sherman, TX, and Samuel (Candy) Heatley of Vermilion; grandchildren Emily, Caroline, Gavyn, Angel, Martina, Danielle, Samantha, Liam and several others; great-grandchild Nadia; brothers Dennis and Rich Marsolais. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Viola (Chamberlain) Marsolais, and brother Hal Marsolais. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27th from 5-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. The memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
