Robert Nevedale

Robert Joseph Nevedale, 67, of Vermilion, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at his home. He was born June 11, 1937 in Bobtown, PA. He worked as a painter for American Standard & Tappan in Elyria. He had also worked as a buffer and grinder for Moen, Elyria. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patty Nevedale (nee White), sons, Keith Nevedale and Michael Nevedale, both of Vermilion, granddaughter, Crystal Nevedale, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, John Nevedale of Elyria, and 3 sisters, Mildred Sharpnack of Elyria, , Clara Collage of Rices Landing, PA and, Dorothy Ekovich of Escondido, CA. Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Hidock) Nevedale. Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
