Robert Charles Senn Jr.

Robert Charles Senn, Jr., 65, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 27, 2026.

He was born April 26, 1960, in Cleveland and made his home in Vermilion for the past 34 years, having moved from Garfield Heights.

Robert proudly served the community as a firefighter with the Cleveland Fire Department for more than 12 years, retiring in 1992. He was dedicated to his work and valued the camaraderie and sense of purpose that came with serving others.

In his free time, Robert found his greatest enjoyment outdoors. He loved spending time on the lake fishing and boating, and working in his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Senn; his son, Robert "Bobby" Senn; his stepchildren, Michael (Holly) Schmidt and Kathryn (Brent) Picha; his step-grandson, Slade Picha; his sister, Bonnie (Greg) Sejd; his brother, Brian (Carla) Senn; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Charles Senn, Sr., and Florence Senn (née Lang).

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4:00 until the time of a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
