Robert L. Trimble III, 40, of Vermilion, died Monday, October 7, 2019 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 4, 1979 in Oberlin and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 10 years moving from New London. Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He had attended Akron University and worked as a Tunnel Surveyor for Lane Construction. He was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church. Robert was a hot sauce enthusiast and enjoyed hiking, camping, and spending time in the outdoors. He was extremely dedicated and passionate about his work and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Lee (nee Dalton) Trimble of Vermilion; mother, Edna (nee Baechle) Trimble of New London; children, Brynn Trimble, Jesse Trimble, Jonathan Konnerth, Collin Trimble, Savannah Trimble, and William Konnerth; grandparents, Robert Sr. and Anna Trimble of PA; sisters, Adrienne (Soloman) Jackson of Kennesaw, GA; Ramona (David) Skiver of Sandusky; and Lisa (Peter) Mycek of Wellington; brothers, Raymond Fleming of Greenwich and Samuel (Trisha) Trimble of Surprise, AZ; sister -in-law, Samantha (Stephen) Landy of Vermilion; brother-in-law, Mark (Maggie) Partin of Lorain; mother-in-law, Ruby Dalton of Vermilion; father-in-law, Evan Partin Jr. of Elyria; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Trimble, Jr. in 2008. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend Nick Cacciatore will officiate.
