Roberta Ann Schau

Roberta Ann Schau (nee McDonald), 57, of Tennille, GA, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a 6 month illness. Roberta was born September 3, 1959 in Amherst, Ohio. She had been a Tennille resident for the past 10 years moving recently to this area. She worked for Walmart in Sandersville, GA as the bakery manager. Roberta enjoyed cake decorating, bowling, spending time with her family, shopping, and vacationing. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Alexander) Strick of Vermilion; son, Kevin Schau, Jr. of Norwalk; granddaughter, Madison Todd of Vermilion; sisters, Denise McDonald-Curry, Mary Beth McDonald, Paula Zimmerman all of Lorain, and Kimberly Humphrey of Fremont; brothers, Theodore McDonald of Wayne, OH, and Kenneth McDonald of Lorain; her sister in law, Judith Morse, Harrison, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. . She was preceded in death by her parents, John and June M. (nee Wright) McDonald, and her life partner who died on Feb 3, 2016, James Wallace Hinslea. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11 am at Lakeview Baptist Church, 591 Ferndale Avenue, Vermilion. The Reverend Cliff Morris, officiating.
