Rodney D. Nagy

Rodney D. Nagy, 41, of Amherst, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Born January 21, 1969 in Cleveland, OH he had been an Amherst resident for the past 2 years moving from Elyria, Wellington, and LaGrange. Rodney worked as a fabricating welder for various companies, most recently Benko, Sheffield Twp. He was a member of East Broad Street Church of Christ, Elyria. Survivors include his wife of 7 1/2 years Rosemary Nagy; son, Rodney K. Nagy of Oberlin; daughter, Tawnee M. Nagy of Annandale, VA; son Darin R.E. Nagy at home; daughter, RoseMarie S. Nagy at home; father, Bruce P. Nagy of LaGrange; brother, Bruce Nagy; father-in-law, Paul Cody of Amherst; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernie Marie (nee Carr) Nagy. Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12 noon the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Harold Reddick will officiate. Interment will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
