Roger J. Moc

Roger James Moc, 86, of Westlake, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at St. John West Shore Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born August 26, 1933 in Lorain, OH. Roger briefly served in the United States Army and was discharged with honors. He was a star basketball player for Vermilion High School and graduated with the class of '51. He is survived by his sister in law, Emily Moc of Vermilion; his nephews, John (Marcia) Moc of Vermilion, Kevin (Susan) Moc of Portland, OR, Steven (Anne) Moc of Westerville, and David Moc of Worthington; and a niece, Lisa (Jim) Hall of Richwood. He was preceded in death by his parents Rudy L. and Esther (nee Wittmer) Moc; and his brother, Dr. Rudy G. Moc. A memorial gathering  will be scheduled at a later date.
