Ronald Burchett

Ronald C. Burchett, 66, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born October 8, 1954 in Clarksville, TN and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 54 years moving from Clarksville, TN. Ronald worked for Ford Motor Co. in Lorain for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He attended First Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, cleaning his cars, yard work, and spending time with family. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan M. (nee Mayer) Burchett of Vermilion; daughters, Stefanie (Jeromy) Balicki of Lorain, and Kimberly Burchett of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Abigail and Andrew Balicki, Jackson, Marissa, and Jesse Harrell; sisters, Barbara (Richard) Eddy of Florida and Deborah (Gordan) Burns of South Carolina; niece, Nichole Ehrbar; nephews, Brian, David, and Greg Eddy and Joseph, Jared, and Joshua Price and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olan C. and Lillian (Mathews) Burchett. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2021, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
