Ronald Dean Knox, 71, of Vermilion, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at University Hospitals of Cleveland after a brief illness. Ronald was born November 20, 1945 in Columbus, OH, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of the National Guard. Ronald worked as a truck driver for E & L Transport for 27 years. He was a member of Amvets Post # 22, the American Legion Post 397, and the Amherst Eagles. He enjoyed karaoke and spending time with his family He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Knox (nee Yurcik); children, Laurie Malik-Knox, Ronald Dean (Angela) Knox Jr, Kimberley (William) Lutz, Jeffrey Knox, and Thomas (Jennifer) Knox; grandchildren, Ronnie Knox III, Lynn Malik, Brittany Knox, Alexzander Lutz, Paul Knox, Damian Lutz, Camryn Knox, and Leah Knox; and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Apollo Knox. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dwight and Viola Grace (nee Landau) Knox. At the request of the family, all services will be private.
