Ronald Weisenstine, 77, of Vermilion, went to be with his Lord, Friday, August 12, 2022 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born September 17, 1944 in Cambridge, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 32 years moving from Canton.
He attended Allied Institute of Technology in Chicago for Tool and Die making. Ronald worked for Ford Motor Co. as a Tool & Die maker for 23 years retiring in 2007.
He was an Elder at the Toledo Road Church of Christ in Lorain. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and spending time in the garage working on his Thunderbird and taking it to car shows. He spent the winters in Arcadia, FL. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann (nee Markle) Weisenstine of Vermilion; daughters, Annette (Frank) McCourry of Elyria, and Lana (Neil) Solomon of Massillon; grandchildren, Tara (Stephen) McFarren, Jenifer (John) Bryan, Michael (Sydney) Solomon, Macie (Jordan) Knight, & Maranda Solomon; great grandchildren, Grace McFarren, Ady Bryan, Drake and Tatem Solomon; and a brother, Neal Weisenstine of Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Maxine (nee Shaffer) Weisenstine.
Private services will be held. The family suggests memorial contributions to Toledo Road Church of Christ, 5075 Toledo Ave, Lorain, OH 44055.
