Ronney A Thomas

Ronney A. Thomas, 92, of Avon Lake, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky following a lengthy illness. Ronney was born February 7, 1927 in Bruce, WV. He resided in Avon Lake and Berlin Heights. He was a veteran of the Army serving during World War II. Ronney worked for Hill Hubble Pipe Co in maintenance before retiring in 1994. He was a life member of the Beaver Creek Sportsman's Club and a member of the American Legion Post 659, Berlin Heights. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed target shooting and the outdoors. He is survived by his son, Aaron (Terri) Thomas of Avon Lake, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Gilbert Thomas and Opal Ann Walton; daughter, Paula Fay Thomas; and his wife Helen Mary (nee Barto) Thomas.
