Rosanne "Lynn" Ray

Rosanne "Lynn" Ray (nee Wagner), 62, of Amherst, passed in the comfort of her home, on October 6, 2024 after her battle with cancer.

She was born January 11, 1962 in Fairview, OH and had been a Amherst resident for the past 5 years moving from Vermilion.

Rosanne was a wonderful wife and mother. She took pride in her work at Parker Hannifin Aerospace where she worked for 20 years.

She loved visiting the ocean, spending time with her family and canning with her husband, Doug.

She was the beloved wife of 37 years to Douglas V. Ray of Amherst, a loving mother of Steven (Danya) Valentine, Cheryl (Thomas) Chaney, Dustin Weaver, and Kimberly Ray; grandmother to Alexis (Cody) Smith, Dylan Valentine and Gianni Valentine; great grandmother to Eden and Ellie. The dear sister to Tina Minch and Joe Wagner and an aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Ann (nee Solene) Wagner.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Riddle Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate.
