Rose Ann Nickoloff-Zadekas, 74, of Lorain, died Thursday morning, December 15, 2011 at Denise's Adult Home Care, Lorain following a lengthy illness. Rose Ann was born November 12, 1937 in Lorain and had been a life long area resident . She was a homemaker, and a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She was an active member of the church serving there as a Eucharistic minister, as well as at St. Vincent DePaul in earlier years. She enjoyed photography, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Jeff (Stephanie) Nickoloff of Lorain, Roseanne Nickoloff of New London, Tim (Jessica) Nickoloff of Lorain, Ted Nickoloff of Columbus, and Suzanne Nickoloff; grandchildren Daisy, Isaac, Noah, Jessica, and Zachary Nickoloff; sister Theresa Krause of Indiana. She was preceded in death by parents her John A. Zadekas and Catherine Anna (nee Jasinski) Barnhart. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain where the Altar Rosary Society will recite prayers at 6:00 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 418 W. 15th St., Lorain.
