Rosemary G. Lustek

Rosemary G. Lustek (nee Wearsch), 80 of Lorain, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a lengthy illness. She was born April 6, 1927 in Westlake and has lived most of her life in Lorain. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1945 and for a short time worked in the Accounting Department at U.S.Steel. She was most importantly a homemaker, devoted to her family. In her youth she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish and then was a 44 year member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John and the Harborview Junior Women�s Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas Lustek of Lorain; daughters, Sharon Matchette of Lorain and Catherine Forman of Bruceton Mills, WV; sons, Terrance V. Krucinski of Lorain and Thomas J. Lustek, Jr. of Elyria; 8 grandchildren; brother, Louis W. Wearsch of Lorain; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded-in-death by her first husband, Victor S. Krucinski in 1960 and parents, Joseph and Catherine Wearsch, sister, Hazel Mucha and brothers, Herman, Earl, Joseph, Jr. and Robert. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, where members of the St. Anthony Marion Guild will have a rosary service at 2:30pm. Closing prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, Jude 7, 2007 at 9:30am followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 E. Erie Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend Joseph West, OFM Conv., pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
