Ruth W. Hauff

Ruth W. Hauff (nee Hill), 93 of Vermilion, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in at her home after a sudden illness. She was born May 8, 1913 in Sylvania, Ohio. She has been a Vermilion resident most of her life. She had been co-owner of Pauly's Flower Shop in Vermilion and taught ceramic's out of her home. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, painting, reading and traveling. She is survived by 4 sons, James Hauff of Vermilion, Richard Hauff of Vermilion, Frederick Hauff of Wellington and Thomas Hauff of Orlando, FL; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Hauff in 1987; parents, Claud and Charlotte (nee Cook) Hill and a son John Hauff. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 10 am with The Reverend Louis Bertoni officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
