Ruth Miller Ruetenik

Ruth Miller Ruetenik (nee Kishman) 97, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 13, 1912 in Vermilion; and remained a lifelong resident. Ruth was the co-owner and operator of Ray E. Miller Hardware and Liquor store in Vermilion. She was a member of Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church and enjoyed social activities, shopping and traveling. Survivors include daughter-in- law, Mary A. Miller, Vermilion; sister, Elsie Kelble, Berlin Heights; and several step children, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by first husband, Ray "Scud" Miller; second husband, Paul Ruetenik; sons, Donald R Miller and Robert Miller; brother, Charles Kishman; sister, Alma Bradley, and parents Charles and Annie (nee Krapp) Kishman. Friends may call Friday, October 1, 2010 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, and Vermilion. The Reverend Nick Cacciatore will officiate.
