Ruth Catherine Will (nee Angersbach), 94, of Vermilion, died Monday, February 16, 2015 at Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion. She was born July 7, 1920 in Henrietta Twp. and had been a life long area resident. Ruth graduated from the Brownhelm High School class of 1938. She worked for American Radiator during WWII and as a maid/nanny for an Elyria family where she enjoyed taking care of their children as well as cooking and hosting their dinner parties. Ruth was introduced to her future husband Burton "Bill" Will by her lifelong friend, Elsie (Clyde) Risdon, and they were married in 1945. Ruth was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical & Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was involved with the Merry Maker Circle and the 60's and Over Club. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and canning things grown in the family garden. She is survived by her daughters, Marcia (Jeffrey) Goodridge of Muskegon, MI and Linda McDoniel of Berkley, MI; grandchildren, Nicole (Bradley) Clugston and Christopher McDoniel; and sisters, Margy Millis of Vermilion, Jean Nickols of Berlin Hts., and Wilma Krieg of South Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1986; parents, Roy and Flossie (nee Bechtel) Angersbach; sister, Elizabeth Dawley, and a great-grandson, Landon Clugston. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion OH. A Funeral service celebrating Ruth's life will follow at 12 Noon on Saturday at the Vermilion E & R Church, Ohio & Grand Streets, Vermilion. The Reverend Nick Cacciatore will officiate. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Saturday.
