Ruthanna "Tootie" Pahl (nee Denman), 77, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at her home after a short illness. She was born October 3, 1928 in Findlay, and had lived in Vermilion for 30 years. She was employed as a beautician. She belonged to a card group in Oberlin and the Buckeye '56ers Collectors Club. She enjoyed painting, playing bridge, cross stitch and knitting. She is survived by her husband of 29 years; Kenneth Francis Pahl; daughters, Kathy Ann Bloss of Vermilion, Karen Sue Chemello of Traverse City, MI; sons, James Patrick Connors of Norcross, GA, William Michael Connors of Traverse City, MI, Christopher Jay Connors of Findlay, and Kevin Joe Connors of Traverse City, MI; step daughter, Bonnie Elizabeth McGee of Crestwood, KY; step sons Michael Gerard Pahl of Tallahassee, FL, Kenneth Ashley Pahl of Elyria, Leonard Lee Pahl of Huron, OH, Todd Stacey Pahl serving in the US Navy in Japan; 13 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dick Wendall Denman of Alvada, OH and Hilton Charles Denman of Findlay. Preceding her in death were her parents, Milton and Esther (nee Tiffany) Denman, brother, Russell Eugene Denman, and sisters, Frances Worley and Helen Baldwin. Friends may call Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home following visitation at 2 pm. Matt Humphrey, Life Celebrant, will officiate.
