Ryan Morgan Majesky

Ryan Morgan Majesky, 40, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 11, 1985, in Oberlin, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Vermilion. Ryan was a 2004 graduate of Vermilion High School.

Ryan had a deep passion for fire protection and service to his community. He previously served with the Vermilion Township Fire Department and was the proud owner and operator of Lake Erie Fire Protection.

He found great joy in being on the water, especially fishing and participating in watersports and enjoyed collecting guns and fire memorabilia.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Heather Laura Majesky; cherished daughter, Ashlyn Paige Jacopin; father, Craig William Majesky; mother, Brenda Gail (Marc) Stratton; brother, Brett (Molly) Majesky; niece, Kennedy Sutton Majesky; parents-in-law, Della and Phil Rognon; maternal grandparents, John and Mae Turner; best friend, Jason (Hope) Csongedi; his beloved dogs, Rex and Scarlett and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve and June Majesky.

A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held at a later date.
