Sandra L. St. Clair

Sandra L. St. Clair (nee Carlton), 72, of Lorain, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home. Sandra was born June 30, 1942 in Detroit, MI and had been a Lorain resident for the past 46 years. Sandra worked for Ford Automotive Plant body shop as a right hand technician retiring in 2001. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Vermilion. She enjoyed playing BINGO and taking care of her horses. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard St. Clair of Lorain; daughters, Hollie Alten of Vermilion, Peggy Wells of Sandusky, Kristen (Timothy) Smith of Sandusky, and Danyell (Lou) Buga of Lorain; sons , Lloyd Wells of Dayton, and Walter (Tammy) Wells of Lorain; step daughters, Sandra Yee of Lorain, Esther St. Clair of Lorain, and Terry St. Clair of TX; step sons, Daniel St. Clair of Lorain, and Michael St. Clair of Lorain; 115 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Carlton, Detroit, Terry Carlton, Detroit and Roger Carlton, Cheboygan, MI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ollie Wells, in 1986 and her parents, Walter and Maisy (nee Raby) Carlton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion OH. and on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am. Bishop Joe Newberry will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
