Sandra M. Kensicki (nee Bieth), 76, of Vermilion, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a brief illness. She was born April 28, 1940 in Martins Ferry, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 44 years moving from Wheeling, WV. Sandra worked for Cooks United for over 11 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and the Grange #2171. She enjoyed doing ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 51years, Leo Kensicki of Vermilion; daughters, Bonnie (Greg) Fish of Amherst, Lynn (Bill) Allen of Vermilion, and Diane (Murray ) Orlov of Columbus; 5 grandchildren, Laura, Cara, Grant, Jake and Taylor; brother, Gregory Bieth of St. Clairsville, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Viola (nee Fish) Bieth; and her sister, Karen R. Tomich. The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion, OH. The Reverend Ron Brickner will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
