Sandra D Papp

Sandra D Papp (nee LaCourse), 88, of Vermilion, died Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born June 9, 1934 in Martin, MI and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 70 years moving from MI.

Sandra worked as a Beautician for various beauty shops in Vermilion.  After her retirement, she worked as a travel agent for her daughter's travel agency, Best Travel in Vermilion.

She enjoyed knitting, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Larry) Harper of South Amherst, Debra (Danny) Jackson of Vermilion, and Amy Lasley of Lexington, SC; 5 grandchildren: Tim Bailey, Andrea Nazario, Evan Jackson, Laura Uhl, and Douglas Lasley; 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70, Frank Papp on Aug. 28, 2022; parents, Lawrence and Evelyn (nee Williams) LaCourse; son-in-law, Guy Lasley; sisters, Patricia Gnagy and Carol Lee Rhodes; and her brothers, Harold and James LaCourse.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service for both Sandra and Frank at 11:00 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
