Sandra Petrosky, 60 of Westlake, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 in Community Health Partners, Lorain after a sudden illness. She was born May 4, 1946 in Cleveland and has been a Westlake resident for the past 20 years, moving from Lorain. She worked as an office clerk for Westlake Hearing and Speech for the past 9 years. She had previously worked for several car dealerships including Cleveland Cars. She enjoyed traveling with her friend and co-worker Anita Byron and caring for her mother. She is survived by her mother, Chestine (nee Stankiewicz) Petrosky of Lorain, brother, Ronald Petrosky of Akron, 1 aunt, 1 uncle, and 2 nieces. Preceding her in death were her father Stanley Petrosky and companion Phil Harding in 2005. Friends may call Thursday July 27, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home 1939 Oberlin Ave. Lorain. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday July 28, 2006 at 9:30 am followed by a 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 418 W. 15th St. Lorain. The Reverend Edward Luca, pastor emeritus at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sheffield Village and the Reverend Mr. Robert J. Dybo, deacon at Nativity BVM, will concelebrate. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
