Sara G Allgauer

Sara G Allgauer (nee O'Bryon), 76, of Norwalk, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, after a short illness. Sara was born May 15, 1935 in Terra Alta , WV. She had been a Norwalk resident for the past 13 years moving from Berlin Heights. Sara was a registered nurse and worked for St. Joseph Hospital then retired from Lorain Community Hospital. She enjoyed cooking for her family, flower gardening, her grandchildren and her dogs. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Carol) Allgauer of Huron, Shawn (Sande) Allgauer of Montgomery, TX, Scott (Marlene Yakunovich) Allgauer of Wakeman, and George (Sue) Allgauer of Vermilion; daughters, Amy Reineck of Norwalk, and Kathy (Butch Pollard ) Roby of Willard; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother, Melvin "Mike" (Peggy) O'Bryon of Berlin Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Floyd Allgauer, Oct. 14, 2004, daughter, Sally Ann, and her parents, Robert and Wilma (nee Cross) O'Bryon. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Mel Sayler will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
