Sarah Margaret Snodgrass

Sarah Margaret Snodgrass (nee Wilson), 89, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Admiral's Point Nursing Home after a short illness. Sarah was born March 20, 1924 in Curtisville, WV and had been a Vermilion resident since 1954. She worked for South Shore Packing, Vermilion for a short time and enjoyed quilting, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and embroidery. She is survived by her sons, Donald Lee (Linda) Snodgrass of Vermilion and James E. (Terry) Snodgrass of Berlin Heights; 4 grandchildren: Wendy, Tammy, Tina, Jamie; step-grandson, Michael; great grandchildren; half sister, Edna Butler of Whetstone, WV; and brothers, William Vance Wilson of Newark and Harold Grant Wilson of Canton. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray C. Snodgrass in 1995; parents, Paul Arnold and Zanie (nee Hawkenberry) Wilson ; and brother, Paul Jr. Wilson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion OH. Funeral services will be Monday Nov. 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend Cliff Morris, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, will officiate.
