Shirley Hudson

Shirley Ann Hudson (nee Riddle), 64, of Southington , died Thursday, March 11, 2004 in Trumble Memorial Hospital, Warren, after a lengthy illness. She was born October 11, 1939 in Amherst, Ohio, where she lived until 1984. She has been a Southington resident since 1987 moving from Rochester, New York. She had been a member of 1st Congregational Church of South Amherst. She had worked in the advertising department at Bendix in Elyria. She enjoyed bee keeping, raising goats, canning, cooking and baking. She is survived by her husband, B. David Hudson; 2 sons, Darren Hudson of Niles, OH and Kendall Hudson of Southington; 2 brothers, James T. of Wakeman, and William E. of South Amherst; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in in death by a brother, Larry K. Riddle in 1994; and her parents, James Riddle in 1995 and Myrtle (Krause) Riddle in 1993 . Friends may call Sunday 3-5 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday, March 15, 2004, at 11 a.m. The Reverend Art Wiegand, pastor of the First Congregational Church of South Amherst, will officiate.
