Shirley A Wozniak

Shirley A Wozniak (nee McManigle), 84, of Vermilion, died Monday, January 30, 2023 at Mercy Regional Hospital after a sudden illness.

She was born July 14, 1938 in Buffalo, NY and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 64 years moving from Lorain.

She was a member of St. Mary Parish, Vermilion and AMVETS Post #22.  She enjoyed bowling on the Lake Erie Lanes League and Senior Citizens League.  Shirley was also an avid reader and was rarely without a book she was reading.  She also enjoyed cooking, crafts, and traveling with her husband and friends with the W.O. Jeepster Club.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lawrence R. "Larry" Wozniak; daughter, Patricia Ann Wozniak of Vermilion; and her sister, Anita Clark of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Lena (nee Columbo) McManigle and her sister, Norma Pinckard.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
