Stanley Konat

Stanley Konat, 81, of Lorain, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center, Lorain after a brief illness. Born May 6, 1929 in Lorain, OH he had been a lfie long Lorain resident. He was a veteran of the US Army. Stanley worked for York International Heating & Cooling, Elyria as a towmotor operator. Survivors include his daughters, Starla LaMar and Christina (Donald) Meister; and 3 grandchildren: Mandi Lamar, Macy Fox, and Zachary Meister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy (nee Threet) Konat in 1996 and parents, Joseph and Helen (nee Freide) Konat. Private inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
