Stella M. Broski

Stella M. Broski, 93, of Lorain, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a year long illness. She was born July 22, 1912 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident. She attended Lorain Schools and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. Survivors include her daughters, Janice Briches of Lorain, Carol Kominis of Alice, Texas and Linda Tropio of Chandler, Arizona; 9 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Blanche Wack of Elyria. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, John J. Broski in 1997, parents, Adam and Michalena (nee Sobelinski) Arcaba, sister, Joan Pasti and brother, Leo Arcaba. The family will receive friend on Friday, April 7 from 4-7pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 9:30 am at St. Mary Church, 8th Street and Reid Avenue, Lorain, with the Rev. Daniel O. Divis, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary Church, 309 7th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
