Stephanie Rose Halliday (nee Varanese), 78, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born January 9, 1944 in Euclid, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for most of her adult life.
Stephanie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Parish, Vermilion and a life long faithful Catholic. She loved taking care of dogs and cats that needed a home. She also contributed to many organizations that helped provide care for animals.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kirk Halliday of Vermilion; granddaughter, Savannah Kefover of Elyria; sister-in-law, Barbara Varanese; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Shalaty) Varanese; son, Jonathan Halliday; daughter, Maria Therese Halliday; and her brother, Joseph Varanese.
Graveside services will be held Thrusday, July 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
