Stephen R. Myers

Stephen R. Myers, 69, of Wakeman, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born August 12, 1953 in Baltimore, MD and had been a Wakeman resident since 1987  moving from Amherst .

Stephen worked for Stevens Corporation and Jakmas Plumbing & Heating  retiring in 2014.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, and gardening.

He is survived by siblings, Ralph (Sue) Myers of Amherst; Kathleen Perkins of Vermilion; William (Mary Kay) Myers of Amherst; Margie  (Bill) Rennie of Birmingham;  Bob  (Maria) Myers of Birmingham, Tom (Janine) Myers of Oberlin,  Brian Myers of North Royalton, and Beth  (Tom) Wissinger of Amherst; step daughter, Trisha Timko of Amherst;  and 18 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years; Deborah Myers; parents, Ralph and Mary (nee Wilder) Myers, and nephew, Ralph  Myers III.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, 2022, 11:00 am until the time of service at1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  The Reverend Jim Cooper will officiate.  Interment will follow at Birmingham Cemetery.
