Stephen J. Sklarek

Stephen J. Sklarek, Jr., age 60, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Dallas, Texas. He was born May 5, 1944, in Lorain, Ohio. He attended Lorain High School and was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Sklarek (nee Bonk) of Lorain; brothers, Ronald Sklarak, Frank Sklarek and Ralph Sklarek, all of Lorain; sisters, Rose Jacobs of Lorain, Irene Scanlon of Springfield, VA, and Carol Wright of Sheffield Lake; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his father, Stephen J. Sklarek, Sr. in 1989, a sister, Margaret Sklarek in 2003 and a brother, James T. Sklarek in 1998. Friends may call Saturday, April 9, 2005 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. The Reverend Robert J. Glepko, pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
