Sylvia Hall (nee Ault), 75, of Brownhelm Township, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at her home. She was born August 27, 1932 in Parkersburg, WV and made her home in Brownhelm for most of her life. She worked on the family fruit and vegetable farm and sawmill for many years. She was a member of the Old Fashion Grace Baptist Church, South Amherst. She did volunteer work at Lorain Community Hospital. She loved the Lord, enjoyed her flowers, gardening, sewing and feeding the birds. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Marion "Pat" Hall; son, Willard Hall of Lorain; daughters, Millie Parsons (Ed) of Brownhelm, Carol Brock (Tim) of Birmingham, Barbara Ramirez (Hector) of Vermilion; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ault and Thelma King of Vermilion. Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Florida (nee Pride) Ault and a son, Robert Hall in 1974. Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Howard Crabtree, pastor of the Eversprings Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
