Tacie Lynn Canterbury (formerly Simpson), aged 64, of Vermilion, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, following a prolonged illness.
Born on December 17, 1959, in Amherst, OH, she had resided in Vermilion for 39 years, having relocated from Amherst.
Throughout her career, Tacie served as a dedicated waitress in several restaurants, notably Baci and Kalahari.
Tacie was renowned for her culinary talents, particularly her delectable cheesecakes, pumpkin rolls, and exquisitely crafted wedding cakes. She found solace in leisurely moments by her pool, often accompanied by the melodies of Journey and The Eagles.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ryan (Nichole) Snyder of Vermilion and Justin (Sarah) Wagner of Elyria; her beloved grandson, Trey Wagner; as well as her sister, Karen (Kyle) Spradley of Arlington, TX, and brother, Todd Simpson of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Blair and Sandra Kaye (nee Thomas) Simpson.
Private services will be held.
