Tammi Lee Board (nee Branscum), 52, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her home after a 2 year illness. Born November 1, 1958 in Oberlin, she had been a Vermilion resident for the past 30 years moving from South Amherst. Tammi worked for the Vermilion Schools as a bus driver for 20 years retiring in 2011. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion and was past-president of the Bus Drivers Union (OAPSE/AFSCME). Tammi enjoyed playing BINGO, slot machines and spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Marshall Board Jr.; son, Shawn (fiancé Jamie) Board of Fremont; daughter, Megan ( fiancé Dustin) Board of Vermilion; father, Clinton Branscum of Lorain; grandsons, Cameron & Nicholas Wisenbaler; sister, Linda (Andy) Nickels of South Amherst; brothers, Don Branscum of Amherst, and Rick (Judy) Branscum of Elyria and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally L. (nee Burford) Branscum-Sage on November 21, 2010. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion OH. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. The Reverend Cliff Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Vermilion.
