Tara L. Hardway, 50, of Vermilion died Monday, January 25, 2010 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a brief illness. She was born July 9, 1959 in Lorain, Ohio. She worked as a hostess for Wendy's Restaurant for 10 years. She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church and the National Head Injury Foundation. She enjoyed biking, art, working, music, reading the bible, people and her independence. Survivors include her parents, Earl Hardway,. Jr. and Ora D. Hardway (nee Hurst) of Vermilion; sisters, Brenda Hardway of Vermilion, Linda Hardway of Lorain, Tina Bixie of Vermilion and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, January 29, 2010 from noon until the time of a funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion The Reverend Mike Levelle, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Township. The family suggest memorial contributions to New Life Hospice 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035-1450 or the American Cancer Society, Ohio Division 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
