Teresa Seals, 87 of Vermilion, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Specialty Hospital of Lorain, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 23, 1922 in Tampa, Florida and has lived in Vermilion for over 50 years, moving from Lorain. Teresa attended Clearview High School before raising and caring for her family. For the past 30 years, she worked as a housekeeper for Lorain Community Hospital. She had a zest for life in all things, but especially enjoyed playing bingo, working and cleaning, and spending time with the family and friends whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, William G. Seals of Vermilion; daughters, Carole Hodgson of Wellington, Amy Seals of Vermilion and Tina Karres of Vermilion; sons, Mike Bires of Vermilion and Bill Seals of Vermilion; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ina Oray of Lorain and Dora Lasky of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Ramon and Carolina (nee Garcia) Conde, sister, Ida Trefz and brothers, William and Rudy. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
