Terrance "Terry" Lee Pitsnogle, 67, of Vermilion, died Monday, February 7, 2011 at his home after a lengthy illness. Born June 10, 1943 in Hagerstown, MD, he graduated from Vermilion High School and joined the Air Force moving 19 times in 25 years with his military career. He had lived in Vermilion for the last 6 years. He retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1986. He had also worked as an electrical technician for United Coin in Reno, NV. Terry enjoyed trains, reading, model boats, and projects. Survivors include his mother, Lois (nee Wolf) Pitsnogle; sons, Paul Pitsnogle of Reno, NV, James Pitsnogle of Reno, NV, Richard Pitsnogle of Stafford, VA, and Michael Pitsnogle of Reno, NV; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Pitsnogle in 1996 and a brother, Robert Pitsnogle in 2002. Private services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Riddle Funeral Home.
