Terri Lynn Johnson (nee Herald), 56, of Vermilion, died Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN, and had been a Vermilion resident since 1986 moving from Richton Park, IL. Terri worked for Lorain National Bank as a bank teller supervisor for the past 25 years, retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Vermilion Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School and was involved in Puppet Ministry. Terri had a passion for helping others, whether it was at the church or helping the teachers at VES. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rev. David Johnson of Vermilion; father and step-mother, William and Pat Herald of Valrico, FL; daughters, Stephanie Johnson and Jennifer Johnson both of Powell; son, Chris (Tahrea) Jonson of Grove City; sister, Debbie (Mike) Pence of Beach Grove, IN; and brother, Bill (Heather) Herald of Bargersville, IN She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda (nee Hawkins) Herald and a sister, Vickie Aeschliman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The Reverend Rich Henry will officiate.
