Terry Werner

Terry Lee Werner, age 76, of Vermilion, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Born on September 12, 1947, in Elyria, OH, Terry called Vermilion home for the past 28 years, having previously lived in Wakeman.

For over 30 years, Terry dedicated himself as an Electrician at Ford Motor Co., Avon Lake, before retiring. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 2000 and found camaraderie among fellow Browns Backers. Terry's passions included his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles and the adrenaline rush of drag racing.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Allison (Joe) Tristan of Marion, IA, along with granddaughters Mackenzie and Makayla Tristan. He is also survived by his brothers: Harry (Amber) Werner, Ernie Werner, and Karl (Vickey) Werner.

Preceding Terry in death were his beloved wife, Darlene Elizabeth Werner, in 2022, as well as his parents, Harry and Evelyn (nee Harris) Werner, sisters Frieda Denger and Barb Smith, and sister-in-law Vibeke Werner.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio, on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Daniel Cortes officiating. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
