Thelma E. King (nee Ault), 78, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness. Thelma was born November 5, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 69 years. Thelma worked for at Elberta Inn as a cook's helper. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela S.(Ken) Collins of Wakeman; sister, Mary Ault of Vermilion; grandchildren, Kenneth (Trisha) Collins and Charles Collins; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Florida (nee Pride) Ault; sisters, Ruby Riffle, Sylvia Hall, Evelyn Lyons, and Emogene Reynolds; brothers, Herman Ault, John Ault, and Edward Ault. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion, Ohio. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate.
