Theresa Costello

Theresa (Teresina) Costello (nee Furci), 94 of Lorain, died on November 11, 2007 at Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland after a 3-month illness. She was born on July 30, 1913 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident. She attended the Lorain City Schools, was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Lorain, where she volunteered in various capacities for over 25 years and enjoyed baking, cooking, making afghans, walking and time spent with her family. She is survived by her son, Patrick (Janice) Costello of Lorain; daughter, Jacqueline (Thomas) Weber of Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Lorraine Furci and Esther Paunoff, both of California and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded-in-death by her husband of 63 years, Pasquale (Pasty) Costello, parents, Giuseppe and Caterina Furci, brothers, James, Joseph (Pep), Anthony, Rocco and Raymond Furci and sisters, Flora Stohla, Frances Inchaurregui and Stella Poth. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 11:00 am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, North Ridge Road, Lorain. The Reverend Edward Luca will officiate. Arrangements entrusted to Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain.
