Theresia Tomlinson

Theresia Tomlinson (nee Peischl), of Dunnellon Florida, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 after a brief illness. Theresia was born in Hungary and moved to Schwé¤bisch Gmé¼nd, Germany in 1946. She was a resident of Vermilion for 38 years, before moving to Dunnellon, Florida in 2002. Theresia enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Hungarian and German foods. She enjoyed get-togethers with her many friends. She had a unique and wonderful sense of humor. She left a lasting impression on all those she met. She was a member of the Lorain Liedertafel Club and German American Club for many years. Theresia is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Bobby Ray of Dunnellon, FL; son, Dennis Tomlinson of Columbus; daughter, Christine (James) Munroe of Elyria; sister, Margarethe Nada of MI; granddaughters, Monica Pryor and Whitney Watson and grandson, Darren Tomlinson all of Elyria; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Suzanna and Josef Peischl; her sister, Rosie; and her brother, Mathias. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Rich Leseganich will officiate. Interment will follow at Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
