Thomas Wayne 'Pete' Alford

Thomas "Pete" Wayne Alford, 82, of Vermilion, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 25, 1937 in Middlesboro, KY and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 49 years. Thomas worked for Ford Motor Co., Lorain as a Driver and Loader for 42 years retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maxine (nee Owens) Alford of Vermilion; daughters, Cynthia (Richard) Pringle and Aimee (Patrick) Quinn; son, Clint (Jolie) Alford, granddaughters, Jillian (Matt) Jackson, Raquel Jenkins, and Erica Jenkins; great grandsons, Griffith and Cooper Jackson and his sisters, Cathy Muhly, Joyce Sullivan, and June Marchen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mossie (nee Frederick) Alford; son, Thomas Alford; sisters, Francis and Leona; and brothers, Earl, Bob, and James.
